A few nights ago, we watched “It’s A Wonderful Life” again and it was better than ever.
What makes this movie live on? Why doesn’t it ever get old?
Maybe it’s the American ideal of a close-knit community … or the old-fashioned romance … or Jimmy Stewart’s fabulous acting … or the classic characters, who are so easy to identify with.
Perhaps it’s because the story of George Bailey’s life gives us hope that even if certain dreams and ambitions fade, it is the people in our lives that really matter.
I don’t really know.
“Ohhh, youth is wasted on the wrong people!”
