For Your Listening Pleasure

Here are some music picks I’ve been listening to lately. Check them out and tell me what you think.

Flags by Brooke Fraser — Folksy, acoustic, laid-back. Give it a few listens to really appreciate it. Best track, hands-down, is “Who Are We Fooling” feat. Aqualung. I don’t often listen to music with folk influence, so this album was a surprise — an excellent one.

Nikki by Nikki Yanofsky — Classic, swingy, jazzy. ALL of the tracks are spectacular. My favorites are “Bienvenue Dans Ma Vie,” “Sunny Side of the Street,” and “Grey Skies.” This album especially appealed to me because of my love for all things vintage.

Wonder by Michael W. Smith — Thoughtful, inspiring, trademark. If you’re familiar with MWS, this album is no break from tradition but you will not be disappointed. I posted my favorite track earlier — “Take My Breath Away.”

“Hidden Away” by Josh Groban. The first video from his upcoming album “Illuminations,” available 15 November.

And three random picks from songs I like:

“I’m Still Here” by Christa Black

“Feeling Good” by Muse or Michael Buble

“Throw It Away” by Fiction Family

Enjoy!

p.s. What are you listening to these days?
